Tucson Time Capsule : Cliff Drysdale sets tennis mark (Arizona Daily Star)
BRUCE M c CLELLAND / ARIZONA DAILY STAR 1987 Cliff Drysdale became the first man in six years to win back-to-back Grand Masters Tennis Classic championships on Nov. 1, 1987. About 450 fans gathered at the Sheraton El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort near Tucson to watch Drysdale defeat Andres Gimeno.
